The minister’s statements were made during the Investment Summit: Guatemala leading the economic transformation of the region, a closing event for investments that, according to the official, seeks to show the progress made throughout 2022, thank the strategic public-private allies and present the roadmap foreseen for next year.

Four sectoral guides were also presented at the event, focusing on BPO & Contact Center, a sector that has grown around 22 percent in a year and a half, which is why the bilingualism scholarships were recently launched; dairy, as it is a competitive and complex area; vegetables, as well as construction, «one of the great drivers of the economy due to its high potential and the generation of jobs», it was indicated.
