Hydroelectric Renace allows the establishment of a Biological Station in San Pedro Carch\u00e1, Alta Verapaz, for the conservation, protection and monitoring of natural resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CMI continues to deepen its commitment to respect and care for the environment through Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace. We have just set up a Biological Station destined to support the protection of the habitats surrounding Renace.<\/p>\n

Hydroelectric Renace, through this plant, contributes to facilitating scientific research. In addition to academic training in biology, ecology and agronomy studies, among other fields of environmental protection.<\/p>\n

The plant will help the proper development of environmental management, conservation, preservation and monitoring activities of natural resources<\/strong> as it is located in the Renace Hydroelectric Private Nature Reserve in the municipality of San Pedro Carch\u00e1, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.<\/p>\n

The facility covers an area of \u200b\u200b150 square meters and will be available to experts and students involved in biological research and management. As well as in the promotion of environmental education to the population of the educational institutions surrounding the Renace Hydroelectric.<\/p>\n

According to Marco Medina, Environment Manager, \u201cthe Biological Station project was created with the aim of establishing a center for monitoring and implementing scientific research for the conservation of ecosystems. Thus contributing to the conservation and protection of the natural resources<\/strong> of the area. To sustainable development with an impact on people, families and communities, as proposed in the Environmental Strategy of Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace\u201d.<\/p>\n

Progress in environmental conservation in San Pedro Carch\u00e1<\/h2>\n

This project will promote a culture of scientific promotion, specifically the circumstances and technological qualities used in the design of the infrastructure as well as the necessary equipment and resources.<\/p>\n

The Renace Hydroelectric Private Nature Reserve, which covers 46 hectares, is one of the most important and best preserved remnants of forest in the Cahab\u00f3n River basin.<\/p>\n

Due to the fact that Hidroel\u00e9ctrica Renace has a great commitment to the environment of San Pedro Carch\u00e1, these efforts are part of the pyramidal plan expressly established for the preservation, conservation and environmental recovery<\/strong>. The approach takes into account legal compliance, implementation of best practices and environmental value.<\/p>\n
